  3. Why we are here A collaboration with the eight universities within the East Midlands region. An appetite to work together. A genuine requirement. Many working group sessions inthe academic year 2007/2009. HEFCE pump primed for first year. Launched in August 2009.

  4. About the team Contract awarded to Loughborough University. Dedicated team providing the services. Information Security Assurance:CISSP, Tiger Scheme QSTM, CCNP, CCSP etc Trusted Introducer Accredited procedures

  5. Partnerships Very important to ESISS. Trusted provider of Information Security services. Partnership with Sec-1 to provide automated testing services and PCI/DSS support. First responder and supportpartnership with the ESC. Looking at opportunities tocollaborate with JANET(UK).

  6. What we are offering Il Malware Reputation Assurance Disclosure

  7. Service Development Iterative process. Changing environment. Some services cost more to deliver than others. Some services take off. Some kept in house. Feedback from the sector.

  10. Progress and futures ESISS is now in its third year of operation. Has been self funding since August 2010. Surplus generating service. Worked with over 40 different organisations. Providing content for UCISA and other groups. Ensuring ESISS is ready to stand alone post regional delivery changes. A predicted promising future…
