  3. OBJECTIVE To expose students to the world of GIS as it relates to water and wastewater systems. Student should learn the basic components of GIS and GPS.

  8. GIS Graphical Information System • A Graphical Information System in its simplest form is just a Map. • It does not have to be a electronic map. However in modern terms it is used to describe electronic mapping.
