General Overview of Case • Central State University- larger public research institution • Career Development Office out of the School of Business • Working with 400 Graduate students • Professionals- Jim (Associate Director), Shawn, Lindsey, Sarah, Mike (Director) • Mike, who was a former tied to the fortune 500 company, is in his first month of the position and wants to increase the number of employers on campus • The fortune 500 company is looking to interview 5 graduating MBA students in New York • Mike’s decision is to internally choose the five candidates for the fortune 500 company to interview What should Jim do and why?
