  4. 抗Aと抗B • 抗A抗体と抗B抗体は、対応する抗原を持たない人の血清中に（免疫感作を受けたことがなくても）常に存在している ---->したがって安全な輸血は輸血予定者の血漿に適合する赤血球を選択することにより達成される • A型様あるいはB型様物質は、動物組織（食品中にも）や細菌など自然界に広く分布しており、すべての人は生下時より暴露されている ----> 明らかな抗原刺激なしで生じてくる“自然発生”抗体である

  5. Rh式血液型と輸血 • Rh抗体は受血者に存在しないRh抗原を含む輸血の結果生じるが、Rhの自然発生抗体は稀である。 • 母親にないRh抗原をもった胎児赤血球が胎盤を通過して母体に入ると、 Rh抗体が生じることがある。 • Rh抗原の中で最も抗原性が強いのはD抗原であり、注釈がなければRh陽性はD抗原陽性を意味する。 • Rh陰性者に１単位のRh陽性赤血球を輸血すると、少なくとも50%に抗体が生ずると推定されるが、 Rh陽性血小板の輸血によっても抗体が生ずることがある。
