  2. มาตรการทางการเงินที่ธปท.ใช้ในการแก้ปัญหาสถาบันการเงินไทยมาตรการทางการเงินที่ธปท.ใช้ในการแก้ปัญหาสถาบันการเงินไทย • เพิ่มทุนตามเกณฑ์BIS 8.5% • ควบกิจการ • เสริมสร้างความมั่นคงให้สถาบันการเงินด้วยการหาผู้ร่วมทุน • แก้ไขปัญหาบริษัทเงินทุนและบริษัทหลักทรัพย์58แห่ง • ประกาศพ.ร.บ.ล้มละลาย • ทำการประนอมหนี้ • ทำการปรับโครงสร้างหนี้และฟื้นฟูกิจการที่มีปัญหาหนี้สินที่เพิ่มขึ้นจากการเปลี่ยนแปลงระบบอัตราแลกเปลี่ยน(ณ 2 ก.ค. 2540) • หมายเหตุ:มาตรการ12 สิงหาคม2541 และ 14 สิงหาคมปีถัดไป
