  2. Phonics/Decoding • Phonics and decoding are kind of the same. It mean to use the letters and chunks of words to sound out tough words. I DO THIS ALL THE TIME~ • Powhaton +powa+haton

  3. Predicting/ inferring Predicting means to think what is going to happen; Simon will get in trouble with his parents and the council

  4. Monitor/Clarify • I monitor by checking my work by reading it over. • Monitoring means To check what you read

  5. Question • What is a huckle berry bush? • Questioning is when you ask questions

  6. Evaluate • Simon bloom is hard to read but it is funny and cool. • Sometimes you can evaluate by recommending the book to people

  7. summarize • Today I read about a native girl that is playing with two boys • Summrize means to write what you read

  8. Make Connections • Making connections means what have you done that they have done.I’ve ran down a hill he has ran down a hill
