  1. Origami Origami (折り紙 ) is the traditional Japanese art of paper folding. The goal of this art is to create a representation of an object using geometric folds and using only one piece of paper. Origami only uses a small number of different folds, but they can be combined in a variety forms. The most well known form is probably the Japanese paper crane. In general, these designs begin with a square sheet of paper whose sides may be different colours or prints. Contrary to most popular belief, traditional Japanese origami, have been practiced since the Edo era. Edo is the ancient name of Tokyo. MATTEO V. GIULIA M.

  2. Origami There are two types of origami: • The first is the ancient origami 2. The second is the modern origami The technical is similar, but the final result is different 1. This is the oldest type of Origami. Origamiis from China in the Ist Century, but in the IInd Century Japanese become the owners of this art. 2. This type arrived in Europe in 1928 thanks to the book “Fun with Paperfolding” by Murray & Rigney.
