Projet. You are a real estate agent and are trying to sell your house. You will present rooms of the house and describe what is in them. To show how great of a house it is, you will say what you do in each room. You have two options for this project: Create a video and write script.

  1. Projet You are a real estate agent and are trying to sell your house. You will present rooms of the house and describe what is in them. To show how great of a house it is, you will say what you do in each room. You have two options for this project: • Create a video and write script. • Illustrate house and write script.

  2. Requirements of script and of presentation • Introduction • Illustrate/present at least 4 different rooms…no repeats. (garden, garage, attic and basement can count as rooms) • In each room, illustrate/introduce at least 2 pieces of furniture…no repeats. • Each piece of furniture must be described with at least 1 adjective …color, old, new, pretty, favorite..no repeats. • For at least two rooms, describe the color of the walls. • In each room, tell two things that you or others do in that room. • Conclusion….be sure to repeat the reason why it is a great house.

  3. Video If doing the video project, you may work with 1 other partner. BOTH people must turn in script in their own handwriting. BOTH people must speak equally on camera. Comprehensibility –demonstrate that you know what you are saying. You should gesture to the object you are talking about. In class, you will play your video for the others. You can bring it in on flash drive or upload to youtube. If you bring it on flashdrive, be sure to save to a video file. If you have another way to bring in the video besides youtube or flashdrive, that’s probably fine, just let me know.

  4. Illustration If doing the illustration, you will illustrate and label all rooms and furniture. On another sheet of paper, you will write your script. You cannot work with a partner for this task. On day of presentation, you will present your illustration as if you are presenting it to clients. You may refer to your script, but you should not read your script. Your clients would not be very impressed if you read from a script.

  5. Grading • Task completion • Language: Vocabulary (variety, new vocabulary) Language control (each sentence has a verb and a correct verb; adjectives agree with nouns) (Incorrect: Les mursgrands. Les mursestgrands. Correct: Les murssontgrands.) • Comprehensibility – this means that when you speak we can understand you and we are convinced that you know what you are saying. • Professionalism of task. (look at camera, practice presentation, clean transitions) (colored illustration, neat writing)

  6. Due date: A-day: mardi le 22 octobre B-day: mercredi le 23 octobre
