Summary • A boy, who is in a classroom setting, has been victorious after obtaining a commended performance on TAKS test! Both he and his teacher are celebrating together in his classroom. Both teacher and student are proud of his big accomplishment. He continues to have hope and looks forward to a bright future! The rest of the class seem also to share his joy!!

Personal Overview I enjoyed reading the article and found that by using context clues and making inferences one can make predictions as to what the article was about. There were similarities and differences between the two. Being an immigrant myself, I found that I do not entirely agree with the article due to my own life experiences.
