Golden Hills School Division introduces a comprehensive new report card system focusing on academic achievement indicators. This initiative aims to enhance teachers' and students' understanding through detailed subject snapshots and clearly defined curricular expectations. Teachers will receive ongoing support via professional development days, individual feedback sessions, and training from instructional coaches and Students Achieve experts. With a focus on evidence-based assessments, outcomes will be recorded in a user-friendly grade book format, ensuring effective monitoring of student progress throughout the academic year.

Support for teachers • Small group- support on Professional Development day. Instructional coaches with AISI lead teacher • Individual teacher – support provided after feedback from PD day. • Larger group- training from Students Achieve experts on using the program • Individual and small group- follow up training at individual schools with instructional coaches • Teachers will have the ability to contact Technical support about specific Student Achieve concerns • Creation of information/videos forum
Where to Start! • Grade Book(Recording Your Evidence) • Looking at the Golden Hills Prioritized Curriculum: • Start with one subject: Pilot School will work on 1 or more subject from now until March report card. After March Math, Social, LA, and Science are required to be recorded this way. All other school will work on 1 or more subject from March till the end of the year. • Samples of templates for grade books will be provided to you from the AISI lead teachers or instructional coaches
Summary • Achievement Indicator for the pilot report card are: Limited, Basic, Proficient, and Excellent • Report cards will have subject and focus areas. Outcomes will be prepopulated in Students Achieve and linked to the focus areas • Each outcome requires evidence(Conversation Observation, or Products) and assessment type ( Summative or formative) • All outcomes are on the portal • Instructional coaches, AISI lead teachers, technical services will be providing support as we roll out the new learner profile
