  1. THE BRONZE HORSEMAN: LANDMARK IN ST. PETERSBURG The glorious statue of Peter the Great sitting on the back of an incredible bronze pony was a blessing to the city by Catherine the Great to respect her antecedent. The Bronze Horseman is an horse rider statue of Peter the Great in the Senate Square in Saint Petersburg, Russia. The statue is currently one of the remarkable icons of the city. The statue's platform is the colossal Thunder Stone, the biggest stone at any point moved by humans. The landmark in St. Petersburg was worked by request of the Empress Catherine the Great as a tribute to her popular ancestor on the Russian royal position, Peter

  2. the Great. As per a nineteenth century legend, foe powers will never take St. Petersburg while this Statue remains in the city. The landmark was initially known as the Statue of Peter the Great. Its present name comes from a sonnet by the Russian artist Alexander Pushkin, distributed in 1833 and named 'the Bronze Horseman'. It delineates the famous author of Saint Petersburg as a decided outright pioneer, directing his nation towards what's to come.

  3. The platform is made of a solitary bit of red stone formed into the state of a precipice. From the highest point of this "precipice" Peter chivalrously drives Russia forward, while his pony steps on a snake, which speaks to the foes of Peter and his changes.
