  1. FAMOUS MONUMENTS IN MADRID: PUERTA DE ALCALÁ It is a Neo-traditional landmark in the Plaza de la Independencia in Madrid, Spain. It is viewed as the principal current post-Roman triumphal curve worked in Europe, more seasoned than the comparative landmarks Arc de Triomphe in Paris and Brandenburg Gate in Berlin. The Puerta de Alcalá was showered by an explosion of gun shrapnel. The imprints can even now be found in the present day. The Puerta de Alcalá (Door of Alcalá) is a landmark that, as its name recommends, was once one of the five entryways used to enter the walled city of Madrid when voyagers visited from France, Aragón, and Catalonia. The door, which estimates 19.5 meters tall, has

  2. five curves altogether with elaborate statues at the top made by design craftsmen Francisco Gutiérrez and Roberto Michel. The "Alcalá Gate" before long got one of Madrid's images and it is one of the most notable landmarks. It is currently named a National Monument. There are some unfilled brackets situated on the west side. The supports seem "relinquished", as trophies. They are moral story of the praise of harmony. The first Puerta de Alcalá, which stood close by, was worked in 1599 as an invite motion to doña Margarita de Austria, who was the spouse of King Felipe III. The new Puerta de Alcalá was finished in 1769 .These were crafted by famous craftsmen, Francisco Gutiérrez and Roberto Michel.
