Investment Strategy • Reliance Small Cap Fund is a high risk fund which has a significant allocation in the small-cap stocks. • It does not strictly follow either of value or growt style of investment. • The stocks selected have good fundamental and are bought at a reasonable price. • It also has a residual allocation in the fixed income securities.

  8. Interesting Facts About the Fund Reliance Small Cap Fund is popular for being one of the most aggressive schemes in India. Despite having higher volatility or standard deviation than most of the peers, it has maintained a better risk to reward ratio in the small-cap category. The calendar years of 2014 and 2017 were most favourable for the fund and it overtook the benchmark as well as category average to deliver 97.6% and 62.97% annual gains respectively. It hasn't faced a challenging market conditions but has done better than the benchmark and most of the peers in the down market of 2011 and 2018. It doesn't accept investments through lump sum and only allows SIP mode of investment.
