  2. Basic clinical data • 32-year old male • Trauma of scrotal region 1 month before visit of urologist • Large, multicystic mass was revealed using ultrasonography • Orchiectomia was performed

  3. Gross view • 10x5x4 cm • Multicystic tumor replaced substantial part of testicular mass • Whitish on cut surface

  4. ???

  5. chamois

  6. Tumor was extensively sampled • Mucinous cystadenoma probably with further progression into tumor of borderline malignancy

  7. Mucinous cystadenoma of the epididymis • Group of ovarian-type tumors • Usually serous tumors • Mucinous tumors, Breners tumors are exceptionally rares • Ovarian-types usually occured in young adults (3rd decade) • Tumors arise probably from appendix testis, from Müllerian metaplasia or from ovotestis

  8. Prognosis • Uncertain, only few cases were documented • Prognosis could be similar like in the ovarian counterparts

  9. Diferential diagnostics • Particularly it is necessary to distinguish mucinous or serous structures of TERATOMA or mixed germ-cell tumor • GOOD SAMPLING
