  1. Math I have learned a lot of math units mostly which are fractions, mixed numbers, and geometry. I thought by far Geometry was the most difficult units with the angles, degrees, and what type of angle it is such as an obtuse, reflex, acute, right, or straight angle. We learned about geometry the most I think and it was actually kind of easy with naming angles and triangles. The names for triangles are either the, Equaladeral, Issolies or scalene.

  2. A MATH PROBLEm!!!!!!! • (10*8)/10+(6-2)=30 • The answer to this problem is 30. The answer is 30 because first I did 10*8=80 because it was in parentheses. Then I did 6-2=4 because it was the next pair of numbers with parentheses around it. I then went back to 80 and did 80/4=20. Then there was the number 10 left with no parentheses around it so I did 20+10=30. That was then my final answer. I could have wrote 30 differently like 30/100, 30/1, 30.00, 30.0000000000, or 599,000,000,000,030-599,000,000,000,000=30. This type of problem is called Algebra. This problem is also involved with the catch phrase Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally. It is involved because the first letter of the sentence which is P and it stands for parentheses so that means Parentheses come first before everything else like adding, subtracting, dividing, exponets, or multiplying. • Hard Algebra problem<

  3. More MATH!!!!!!!! • Number Sentence • What is 32/5 (32/5 is an improper fraction) as a mixed number. The answer is 6 and 2/5. This is the answer because 5 goes into 32 6 times. You then know there is 2 left over and the denomonator always stays the same. So then the denomonator is 5. Then you just do 2/5 because there is 2 left over and the denomonator is 5 and then you put the 6 in front of the 2/5 and the final answer is 6 2/5. This is called changing an improper fraction into a mixed number. • This is a photo of changing an improper fraction into an mixed number to the right.

  4. Reflection of math year!!!! • I would describe the math school year pretty challenging. I think it was most challenging for me with geometry. I just kind of thought the whole angle degree, volume, vertex, triangle degree and Areas of shapes. I did think a part of geometry was easy, the part was naming types of angles reflex, right, acute, obtuse, and the straight angle. I also thought Algebra was pretty easy with the decimals, percentages, and fractions. One part of Algebra what was kind of tricky was the whole putting numbers to the negative power. I also sometimes made a common mistake which was multiplying the whole number by the exponet number. Like if the answer was 10 to the fifth power the correct answer would be 100,000 but at the very beginning of the year I would say it was 50 sometimes. I would think this because with the little exponet number above the whole number I would have multiplyed by the exponet number by the whole number and I would say 10x5=50 which is true but not the correct product of 10 to the power of 5. To the right is a very hard geometry problem<

  5. Equaladarel triangle!!!! • The definition of an Equaladeral Triangle is a triangle in which that has 3 sides that are all equal to each other. Below there is a Equaladeral Triangle and why it is an equaladeral triangle. • This is an Equialateral Triangle because all sides are 60 degrees and 60 Is equal to 60 and 60. This is a equalalateral triangle to the top right<

  6. Issosoleis triangle!!!!! • The definition of an issosolies triangle is a triangle that has two sides that are equal but the other side is a different measure. Below there is an issosolies triangle. • This is an issosolies triangle because there are 2 sides that are The same measure and those are 5in and 5in but then there is a Different measure which is 3in so There are 2 sides the same measure and 1 different measure. To the top right is an issosolies Triangle<

  7. Scalene Triangle!!!!!!!!! • The definition of a Scalene Triangle is a triangle in which all sides are a different measure. Below is a picture of an Scalene Triangle. • This is an Scalene Triangle because it has a measure of 12 cm, 6cm, and 14cm. These are all different cm number so that is why this is a Scalene Triangle. To the top right Corner is the Scalene triangle<
