  3. The questionnaire “The mental hygene effects of ADVERTISING”, is made up of a set of 10 questions, about the effect of advertising on teenagers. 130 students from the third classes answered the questions

  4. The first question is about the main objective of an advertisement • 89 students (68,5%) think that the main objective of an advertisement is connected to money; • 28 students (21,5%) think that spots inform people. • Only one student thinks that ( 1 % ) AD makes life easier • While 12 students ( 9% ) say that Ad is a mean of entertaintmemt

Question n.2 • Does a cereal Ad train you a healthier lifestyle? • 32 students (25,5%) think that it advertises an exact company and cannnot train you a healthier lifestyle. • 81 students (62%) think that it names beneficial ingredients • Only 2 students(1,5%) think that people don’t know scientific terms so they cannot understand the message • 11% of them say yes

Question n.3 • How do sport advertisements effect you? • 37 students (28,5%) say that it let them do sport • 28 students(21,5%) say that they introduce only trendy sports • 40 students (31%) think that they rather introduce sport brands • 25 students (19%) think that they are negative • because they represent only muscular men ..

Question n.4 • What is the problem with beauty advertisements? • 27students (21%) say that they represent false ideals about women • 81 students (62%) say that they don't show us the negative effect of products. • 13 students (10%) think that only model-looking women can be beautiful. • 9 students (7%) think that only „plastic” women are accepted.

Question n.5 • What is missing from the advertisements for teenagers? • 45 students (35%) say that AD doesn’t let us any learning. • 10 students (8%) say that teenagers’ help in household works is missing . • 41 students (31%) say Ad doesn’t valorize knowledge. • 34 students (26%) say that there is no future prospectives.

  9. Question n.6 • Can advertisement cause distress for teenagers? • 39 students (20%) think dicono”Yes”. • 13 students (10%) think “No”; • 50 students (38%) say that it depends on spot • 28 students (22%) don’t know the answer.

  10. Question n.7 • Have you ever learnt a useful thing from advertisement? • 69 students (53%) say: “Rarely”; • 34 students (26%) say “Usually”; • 16 students (12%) say “Never”; • 11 students (9%) say “I don’t know”.

  11. Question n.8 • Are advertisements necessary in the 21st century? • 52 students (40%) say : “Yes,because the inform us”. • 22 students (17%) say “No,because they are false”. • 15 students (11,5%) say “Yes, but only the funny ones • 41 students (31,5%) say “I don’t know”.

  12. Question n.9 • Which type of advertisements inspire you? • 13 students (10%) say: “Posters”; • 50 students (38,5%) say: “Advertisement onTV”. • 29 students(22,5%) say: “The slogans of brands”.38 students (29%) say: “Celeb's externals.

  13. Question n.10 • Do advertisements affect your everyday purchases? • 58 students (45%) say : “A little”; • 8 students(6%) say : “Especially”; • 55 students(42%) say : “No”; • 9 students (7%) say : “I don’t know”.
