DarkSide would have needed $ 7.5 million, or 133.65 bitcoins, to access 150 GB of data. In addition, DarkSide shared a data leak page that consisted of a description of the data stolen and screenshots of some files to prove their claims. The ransom was negotiated and Brenntag eventually paid $ 4.4 million.
