Rangoli is an art form, originating in India in which patterns are created on<br>the ground using materials such as dry flour, coloured sand, or flower petals.<br>It is usually made during Diwali or Tihar, Onam, Pongal, and other Hindu<br>festivals in the Indian subcontinent.<br>The purpose of Rangoli is decoration, and it is thought to bring good luck. It<br>is usually drawn at the entrance of a house or any building. The designs are<br>geometric patterns, either symmetrical or asymmetrical. They are<br>representative of the Universe and its harmony. Rangoli can be made in<br>many different ways.
