  2. What is boredom? IN GENERAL • Not wanting to do anything. • Sitting ideal and doing nothing. • Finding the current situation unsatisfactory. IN SCIENTIFIC TERM • Condition of the brain that results in negative output.

  3. Why do we feel bored? • Lack of focus on current activity. • Unable to understand or hear the delivered information. • When situation is not under ones control. • When you are asked to things that you are not interested.

  4. Science of boredom Less dopamine receptor in brain results in boredom and more amount of dopamine receptor keeps the person active.

  5. How to deal with boredom? • Take a break from daily routine. • Learn new and interesting things. • Be a volunteer. • Be aware of bad companies. • Create a balance in academic and extracurricular life.
