This includes an emphasis on commercialising innovations involving private partners (particularly SMEs),strengthening R&D networksand their linkages to the private and public sector, and improving theinstitutional conditionsfor a wider absorption of new knowledge. A challenge for the period 2007-2013 will be to forge stablepublic private partnerships(PPP).”

  11. Moving on… Europe 2020 demands focused action and that every European region should identify the actions that will give the greatest gain for the funding invested and make a real contribution towards smart, sustainable and inclusive growth.
