  2. Business Idea • Mobi-Ads idea is to provide the consumer with an X amount of free units per month. These units can be used for talking minutes or sms. • In return the consumer gives us the right to change their background picture automatically on their mobile according to our choice, or actually, the advertisers with a contract with us. The consumer would not be able to control the background picture. • Advertisers would pay us for the right to put their commercials on the consumer’s phones. • Our company would sell licenses to this concept, and also work as intermediaries, working with operators and advertisers.

  3. 1. Is our proposed activity legal in our country? • Yes, there are no restrictions concerning advertisement in Finland

  4. 2. If formal qualifications (such as a degree) are needed to perform this activity, do we possess them? • No degree needed, all expertise provided by the partner

  5. 3. Do we have the experience and credibility needed to make our customers hand out their hard-earned cash for our service? • Yes, this kind of specific advertisement is both effective and relatively cheap for the advertisers

  6. 4. Do we know, and have access to, the customer segment that would use our services? • Yes, since the segment is people like us

  7. 5. Do we have the equipment and tools needed to produce our service? • No we don’t, we need a partner

  8. 6. If considerable capital is needed to perform this service on a regular basis, do we haveaccess to such capital? • The capital needed from our behalf is quite small but the partners share is bigger

  9. 7. Do we know the price the customer is willing to pay for our service? • The end-consumer doesn’t pay anything; our income comes from the advertisers

  10. 8. Will that price cover our costs, including fair wages to ourselves? • Yes, since the cost for us is quite small and we can offer the advertisers the service for a low price

  11. 9. Do we know the competition and their modes of operation? • There is for example one competitor in this business and its name is Blyk, they give the consumer free phone calls and sms in exchange for that they send out multimedia sms advertises

  12. 10. Are we unique enough to create our own profile and beat the competitors? • Yes, the business idea is very unique in Finland and the demand is high
