  1. Web Services Wrap-up and Survey Results Ryan Armstrong Alex Brown Andrea Miller

  2. Small Response Numbers • There were some good comments left that are useful • However, only 5 students responded to the survey • Any results are limited in scope and usefulness

  3. Improvements from last time • Improved PowerPoint slides • More structured • Readings were improved • General appearance

  4. Improvements continued… • Responders were honest, one person simply stated that they couldn’t remember our last presentation • One respondent left a very helpful “good” comment

  5. Case Study Comparison • Both of our presentations had a case study • Most people felt that the Expedia.com case study was better then the Geneva study • Unfortunately for those respondents, it was the Geneva case study that was the basis for the highest point question on the midterm • Likely that the length of the two was the biggest factor in people’s decisions

  6. Familiarity with Web Services • According to respondents, most people were at least somewhat familiar with Web Services to begin with • This made teaching about the topic much easier then ERP Systems • People also responded walking away with a much better understanding of Web Services after the presentation
