It has been developed by Com Vision (India) Pvt. Ltd. and the final version was launched on March 07th 2018 by the honourable Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Mr Nitin Gadkari. The government also launched its very first national highway toll free helpline number (1033) to provide with quick services to the emergencies that people face on the highways. The notion of Digital India instilled by the Prime Minister of India has taken its course in various sectors of operations. The launch of the Sukhad Yatra app was yet another milestone in that regard.
