The Lay of the LandBefore iLoveMountains.org • “Spreading the word” was done piecemeal online, with earned media coverage, and face-to-face organizing by local and regional organizations. • The problem: • Hard to convey the scale of mining • National face-to-face organizing cost a lot • Missing an online organizing presence • National legislation needs a national network
