  4. Tolerance and Truth Why we love to judge harshly: • Makes us feel better than others • Builds confidence by comparison • Ignores the issues in our own lives • Over protecting those we love • Sometimes the very issue we are dealing with

  5. Tolerance and Truth Is God tolerant? Yes – we have the freedom to be wrong. (There is wrong!)

  6. Christians Should Judge • Wise choices will watch over you. Understanding will keep you safe. Wisdom will save you from evil people, from those whose words are twisted. Prov 2:11-12 • Wounds from a sincere friend are better than many kisses from an enemy. Prov 27.6 • As a dog returns to its vomit, so a fool repeats his foolishness. Prov 26:11
