  1. 67 Points Immigration Canada Calculator Canada has a point-based immigration system in which those applicants who achieve the minimum point score are selected from the immigration pool for relocation. Almost every program and Subcategory of Canada Immigration is point-based. And these quantifications of credentials have been a widely accepted model of migration in Canada. Since its introduction, the express entry program has been a popular model for Canadian immigration. The introduction of the program can be considered a masterstroke by the Canadian government to get skilled foreign workers in Canada faster so that they are not wrapped up by another growing economy. There are three subcategories under the express entry program- • Federal Skilled Workers Program (FSWP) • Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP) • Canadian Experience Class (CEC) Federal Skilled Workers Program (FSWP) The most widely accepted Subcategory in the above stream is the Federal Skilled Workers Program(FSWP) which asks for a 67-point yardstick for the selection of the applications for Canadian immigration. That means that all those candidates who will secure 67 points out of 100 in their own point calculation grid will be eligible for Canadian immigration through the Federal Skilled Workers Program(FSWP). The points in the Federal Skilled Workers Program (FSWP) are calculated as per the age, language, education, work experience and adaptability of the applicant. Let us look at these factors in detail below: ● Age - The applicants who are aged between 18 to 35 are in the prime of their life and are the highest score runners in this category. ● Language - The language is tested before an applicant migrates, and the two official languages of Canada are - English and French. The English language is tested through IELTS and the French language through TEF. The applicants who secure a minimum of 6 Band are in the running and can secure decent points for Canadian immigration. For different band scores, the point allocation is different, and the higher you score in language, the better it is for the applicant. ● Work Experience - The applicant should have valid and substantial work experience to migrate to Canada. The higher the work experience, the better

Further, having a master's or doctorate degree can help the candidate have maximum points in the immigration category. ● Points - Apart from the above requirements, one of the main requirements for Canadian immigration in the Federal Skilled Workers Program (FSWP) is the attainment of 67 points out of 100 in the point calculation. All those applicants who meet the above-mentioned point score requirement and others are eligible for Canada immigration through this Subcategory of the Express Entry program, and they will receive the ITA (Invitation to Apply), which should be responded to in 60 days time.
