  1. VIETNAM MILITARY MEDICAL UNIVERSITY RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE DIFFERENTIATION OF HEPATOCELLULAR CARCINOMA WITH A NUMBER OF PARACLINICALINDECES • Doctor Nguyen ThuyLinh

  2. BACKGROUND Worldwide cancer mortality statistics,GLOBOCAN 2012: Clinic Paraclinic Histopathology Differentiation HCC

  3. PURPOSE 1. Study of clinical characteristics and histopathology of HCC 2. Study relationship between the differentiation of HCC with a number of paraclinicalindeces: AFP, GOT, GPT, Total Bilirubin and Albumin.

  4. GENERAL Variants of HCC clearcell fibrolamellar oncocytic  Pleomorphic sarcomatoid   sclerosing  small

  5. GENERAL Differentiation of HCC

  6. Objects and Methods 53 patients diagnosed with HCC Histopathology Clinic Paraclinic Differentiation Age, Sex Combined diseases Microbiological test History Biochemical test Imaging tests Albumin GOT, GPT Hepatitis viruses AFP Bilirubin Realationship with differentiation

  7. RESULTS AND DISCUSSION Age and sex:

  8. RESULTS AND DISCUSSION The proportion of patients with HCC was infected hepatitis viruses, Alcoholism and combined diseases

  9. RESULTS AND DISCUSSION Tumor number and size

  10. RESULTS AND DISCUSSION Stage

  11. RESULTS AND DISCUSSION Differentiation: G1 G2 G3

  12. RESULTS AND DISCUSSION RELATIONSHIPBETWEENTHEDIFFERENTATION OF HEPATOCELLULAR CARCINOMA WITH A NUMBER OF PARACLINICAL INDEXES * RELATIONSHIPBETWEENTHEDIFFERENTATIONWITHAFP The lower the differentiation of HCC, the higher the rate of patients with AFP> 200ng/ml

  13. RESULTS AND DISCUSSION ** RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE DIFFERENTATION WITH GOT and GPT: The lower the differentiation of HCC, the higher proportion of patients with GOT/GPT <1

  14. RESULTS AND DISCUSSION *** RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE DIFFERENTATION WITH TOTAL BILIRUBIN AND ALBUMIN Total bilirubinincreased (> 17μmol / l) and albumindecreased (<40g/l) in groups of well, moderately and poorlydifferentiated HCC, is a statisticallysignificantdifference (p> 0.05).

  15. CONCLUSION 1. A number of clinical characteristics and histopathology of HCC • Theaverageagewas 59.3 ± 10.9; Themale / female ratio was 4.3 / 1 • 60.4% infectedwith HBV, 1.9% with HCV and 47.2% Alcoholism • Mean tumor size : 6.4 ± 3.2 cm, 69.8% 1 tumor. • 50.9% welldifferentiated, 34% moderatelydifferentiated and 15.1% poorlydifferentiated. • GĐ: • Child-Pugh A : 69,8%. • Barcenola (2005): 49,1% theintermediatestage. • TNM theo AJCC (2010): 47,2% IIIA stage. 50,9% , BH vừa 34% và BH kém 15,1%. 2.Relationship between the differentiation of HCC with a number of paraclinical indexes: AFP, GOT, GPT, Total Bilirubin and Albumin. • The lower the differentiation of HCC, the higher the rate of patients with AFP> 200ng/ml and the higher proportion of patients with GOT/GPT <1 • Total bilirubin increased (> 17μmol / l) and albumin decreased (<40g/l) in groups of well, moderately and poorly differentiated HCC, is a statistically significant difference
