  6. Locations Basic Information Products Associations Assets Introduction to Oracle Site Hub • Site Hub provides a data hub to store and maintain information about sites in organizations.

  7. Introduction to Oracle Site Hub • A site is defined as a place of business interest. Examples include stores, warehouses, manufacturing plants, distribution centers, retail locations, and executive offices.

  8. Administrator User Understanding Site Hub Roles • Site Hub provides two user roles: • The Administrator sets up attributes, preferences, and formats. • The Site Hub User is responsible for site creation and maintenance.

  9. Site Location Hierarchy Trade Area Understanding Entities • Site Hub uses business entities or objects of Site, Location, Hierarchy, and Trade Area to categorize attributes at the highest level. Attributes associated to these entities capture characteristics and functional areas in your organization.

  10. Defining Attributes and Attribute Groups • Attributes capture features such as business, physical, and financial information for your business entities. Closely related attributes can be grouped for the same business entity.

  11. Setting and Viewing Mapping Features • Location and other site data can be viewed on a map. You can upload site icons, associate attribute pages, and select the display criteria.

  12. Importing Data • Data can be imported from other sources, you can: • Import data into a spreadsheet • Export records into Site Hub Batch Import Export

  13. Viewing, Creating, and Editing Site Records • Information about a site is visible on the site record including number, name, type, address, and integration with other Oracle applications.

  14. Site Clusters and Hierarchies • Site Hub provides the ability to: • Group sites with shared characteristics into clusters • Create hierarchical structures grouped for sites at several levels

  15. Hierarchy Workbench • The Hierarchy Workbench provides an easy and intuitive way to manage hierarchies, their nodes, and associated sites.
