  2. Location • The Zhejiang province is bordered by the East China Sea on the east • The municipality of Shangai on the northeast • The province of Jiangsue on the north • Anhui on the west • Jiangxi on the southwest • And Fujian on the south

  3. Physical Characteristics • Bodies of water- the qiantag River, and the Qiantag River • Landforms- Yandang Mountain, Xuedou Mountain, tianmu Mountain, and the Xiandu Mountain

  4. Climate, Animal life, and Vegetation • Climate- Under subtropical and monsoon conditions, Zhejiang has four distinct seasons and plentiful sunshine • Animal Life- IN Zhejiang there are 1900 species of wild animals • Natural Vegetation- The forests cover 59.4% of the province, bamboo also grows in Zhejiang along with wild plants like ginkgo the cathaya tree, Taiwan fir, and more

  5. Human Characteristics • Population- 48.98 million by the end of 2005 • Ethnic Groups- Han, Hui, Manchu, Miao • Language- Wú a type of chinese • Economy- Zhejiang is a province of strong economy
