ISMH (1921)The purpose of the International Society of Medical Hydrology and Climatology (ISMH) is to design, plan, and co-ordinate scientific research in the fields of Health Resort Medicine and Spa Therapy for prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation programs.A major objective of ISMH is the preparation of international monographs for the continued establishment of guiding principles, directives, and standards in Health Resort Medicine and Spa Therapy. ISMH

FEMTEC (1947) History started in October, 1937 when «The Fédération Internationale des Stations Balnéaires, Climatiques et Maritimes» was formed and the first President Jozsef Ferenc (Hungary) was elected.In July, 1947 at the first post-war congress in Switzerland the Federation was given the new name "International Federation of Hydrotherapy and Climatotherapy - Federation Internationale du Thermalisme et du Climatisme (FITEC)". Presidens of Matters and promote them internationally before states and public organization international business-like co-operation in health resorts' sector; study, research and experience exchanges in the sphere of Spa treatments; In 1999 decided to change the name "International Federation of Hydrotherapy and Climatotherapy" to "FEMTEC (Federation Mondiale du Thermalisme et du Climatisme) - World Federation of Hydrotherapy and Climatotherapy FEMTEC

UEMS European Union of Medical SpecialistsThe Section and the Board of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine represent specialists in Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine within the (UEMS).Twenty-four European countries are members of the Section and Board.Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine is recognized as a full specialty in each of these 24 countries.In this population of 500.000.000 inhabitants, more than 11.000 specialists in Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine practice UEMS
