At the Airport. The Warehouse Madrid Upper Intermediate Class. Vocabulary. I own some shoes that used to belong to my mother-in-law. I don’t wear them very often. I really respect people who work and go to school at the same time .

  2. Vocabulary • I ownsome shoes that used to belong to my mother-in-law. I don’t wear them very often. • I really respect people who work and go to school at the same time. • I think my friend Antonellodeserves to be successful in life. • My job involves quite a lot of prep time. • I trustAngel completely.

  3. Vocabulary • The color orange doesn’t suit me. • I suspect that I make more mistakes when I’m tired than I realize. • I envy people who can multitask. • If my grandmother saw me now, she probably wouldn’t recognize me. • I adore hamsters but I detestguinea pigs.

I think it’s good to stay hydrated before a long flight. • I sometimes phone family and friends. I used to phone Angel but now we fly together .

  18. #4 I’ve been working as a flight attendant for seven years and I love my job. At the moment I am waiting to fly to Rome, so I’m phoning some friends to pass the time. I’ve never had a really scary experience, although once we were flying across the Atlantic and one of the engines stopped working. Luckily it happened while most people were sleeping and we managed to land safely. I suppose the best thing about the job is the discounts. Next month I’m flying to Australia on holiday and the flight only cost me 95 pounds! And the worst thing? I hate security checks. I’ve gone through about 20 this week already!
