  2. State of the Union Address tonight at 9pm. • Talk about the issues with voting, there are many more that face this nation. • Part of being an educated, informed electorate is taking the time to watch things like the SOTU!

  3. Critical Thinkers Worksheet • Personal definitions—good BUT I would also ask, where are you going to get this information to analyze? • Are you a good CT? Not so concerned with the answer but this point— • What can you do about it • Not all decision require deep, critical thought. • Paralysis of analysis • Listen to others ideas—good, but you also have to go further • Problem, gather, options, weigh evidence, choose, act, review! • Not a list to memorize, but a process to use • Practice, T Charts, confidence, reflect • RTfQ and ATfQ • Watch gross overgeneralizations—nobody votes because everybody thinks it is a waste of time. Really? • Analogies and examples
