  3. PAST ACTIVITIES • Rebuilding Together • General Meetings with Professional Speakers • Design Meetings • Beach Bonfire • Tailgate with Industry • Team Construction • Social Events

  5. 2008-2009 ACCOMPLISHMENTS • Launched a new website • Sending 38 students to PSWRC in Hawaii • Completing 200+ manhours of community service • Joint events with AGC, XE, EWB • Partnership with EWB USC

  6. GOALS FOR THE COMING YEAR • Increase Freshman membership to 10% of total membership • 100% retention of non-graduating members • Membership to represent 50% of undergraduate Civil Engineers. • Increased presence of Alumni and Faculty at events.

  7. STRATEGIES FOR MEETING GOALS: • Big Buddy program for all incoming students to the Sonny Astani Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. • Increased social, service and professional events to cover the broad spectrum of Civil Engineering. • Published monthly topics for entire year with regular meeting dates and times. • Officer transition retreat with both present and future officers • Creation of 1 new officer position, co-captainships for all design teams.
