The Wright Brothers at Kitty Hawk
The Students will be put into group of 4 or 5 to perform 2 of the
experiments from the selected book. They will each make a story of
their own inventions.
On Day 4 the students will be asked to choose a
famous inventor, president, woman, or an astronaut
from Ohio. They are to research this person on
Day 4 during class. On Day 5, the student will be
required to present their report to class.
Along with the report the students will be
required to write a story from that persons point of
view and dress up as that character as best as
possible. The students will read their story as
the person they have chosen.

#3. Who was the first woman to run for president?
#4. Name the 18th and 19th presidents that were from Ohio?
#5. Who was the first American to orbit the earth?
#6. What is the most important thing to you about the person that you
chose for your report?
In the next lesson we will be learning about
the famous places in Ohio. We will be visiting one of them on an outside school adventure. I hope to see you all there!!
