Understand the urgency. • “Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near” Isaiah 55:6 • 4. Zealous in relationships. • “Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ” Galatians 6:2

Intercede for our nations. Moses prayed: “Turn Your fierce wrath, and relent from this harm to Your people. Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, Your servants … So the Lord relented from the harm which He said He would do to His people” Exodus 32:12-14, NKJV

  10. Intercession 10. Intercede for world evangelism. “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost” Matthew 28:19 11. Intercede for labors. “Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest” Matthew 9:38

  11. Intercession 12. Intercede for the churches. Paul interceded for the Ephesians: “For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man” Ephesians 3:14-16

Intercede for our pastors. “Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving; meanwhile praying also for us, that God would open to us a door for the word, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in chains, that I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak” Colossians 4:2-4, NKJV 14. Intercede for revival. “ And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a mighty rushing wind, and it filled the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each one of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance” Acts 2:2-4

Possess right motives. “ The Lord shall judge the peoples; Judge me, O Lord, according to my righteousness, and according to my integrity within me” Psalm 7:8, NKJV

  17. Righteousness 19. Make right decisions. “ Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin” James 4:17 20. Put on Christ. “ But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfill the lusts thereof” Romans 13:14 21. Demonstrate righteousness. “ My mouth shall tell of Your righteousness and Your salvation all the day, for I do not know their limits” Psalm 71:15, NKJV

  18. Empowerment Acts 1:8 ...you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you.

  19. Empowerment Acts 4:33 And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection...

  20. Empowerment Acts 10:38 ...God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good.

Empowered by the Holy Ghost. “ But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth” Acts 1:8, NKJV 23. Empowered to witness. “ And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all” Acts 4:33 24. Empowered for the miraculous. “ And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and miracles among the people” Acts 6:8

  22. Empowerment 25. Empowered to do good works. “ How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him” Acts 10:38 26. Empowered with strength. “ Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and long suffering with joyfulness” Colossians 1:11

  23. Empowerment 27. Empowered with joy. “ The joy of the Lord is your strength” Nehemiah 8:10 28. Empowered with assurance. “ Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time” 1 Peter 1:5

  24. Ending Psalm 68:3 But let the righteous be glad; let them rejoice before God: yea, let them exceedingly rejoice. 29. Rejoice in prayers answered. 30. Give thanks.
