Physical Chracteristics • Normallygolden orangewithCharcoal Black stripes • A full grown male can be up to 600 lbs • a full grown female can be up to 500 lbs • Length from head to tail can be 10 to 9 ft long • Length from feet to shoulder is about 3ft long
Environment • the environment is Harsh, freezing with deep snow • If you looked at it you would see snow and bush covered mountains • an ideal temperature would be from 10 - -45 degrees fahrenheit
Food • Eat wild boar, deer and elk • Sometimes eat smaller animals like mice, birds and fish • usually eat once or twice a day depending on size
Behavior • Generally Live alone except a mother and her cubs • Keep in touch with other tigers by leaving visual clues • Might have a territory of 1 mile • Love to swim but rarely do
Why Endangered? • Hunted for their soft fur • Destruction of habitat • Poached or hunted illegaly
Protection • The “Save The Tiger Fund” And Tigris fund donate to save Amur Tigers • You Can’t log where Amur tigers live • A law is you can’t poach them
