  3. Interesting Facts Around 3000 men die from Prostate cancer every year, this is the same amount of women who die from Breast cancer every year. There is up to 18700 new cases of Prostate cancer every year. Prostate Cancer is the second most common cancer for American men, after Skin Cancer. Men over the age of 50 have more chance of getting Prostate Cancer. Prostate cancer cells

Symptoms The main symptoms of Prostate cancer are difficulty passing urine, inability to urinate, passing urine often (particularly at night), weak or interrupted urine flow, pain when urinating, blood in the urine and pain in the lower back, hips and upper thighs. However these symptoms don’t always mean you have cancer, it could just be prostate enlargement. But if any of these symptoms show, definitely go see someone about it. It is critical to get these symptoms checked early as early detection can help save your life. Prostate cancer cells

  5. Risk Factors What causes Prostate cancer? For most cases they yet don’t no what causes the cancer, but between 5% and 10% cases run in the family. What men are at risk? Prostate cancer is very rare in men under 50. The risk increases after the age of 50 with half of all cases occurring in men over 75. Men from families with a history of prostate cancer are at higher risk than normal.

  6. Does a diet lower your chances of getting cancer? Yes, a low fat diet can reduce the chance of you getting prostate cancer. Also tomatoes, Vitamin E, cruciform vegetables (such as broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower and Brussels sprouts) and selenium can help you reduce your chance for cancer. Prostate cancer cells

Cure for Prostate Cancer • If doctors give you treatment early (before it spreads further) there is a 9 out of 10 chance that you’ll be cured but if the doctors detect the cancer late the treatment will only save a couple years of your life because it was to late to cure it. • Here is a list of the different types of treatment they use: • Surgery- you’ll go and have an operation to remove the whole prostate gland • Radiotherapy- high energy rays will kill the cancer • Brach therapy • Hormone Therapy

  8. Prevention from getting Prostate Cancer From latest research there is no way from preventing prostate cancer. Scientist and Doctors are finding ways to prevent this, but they are yet not successful. Prostate cancer cells
