  4. SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS OF THALASSAEMIA PATIENT SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS OF THALASSAEMIA PATIENT Without adequate treatment the child will develop: Distended abdomen due to enlargement of liver and spleen Stunted growth Changes in facial bone structures Jaundice
