  4. Fall 2006Accepted to NYU “Have you decided where you’re going to college?” “Yes, I’m going to NYU!” “Congratulations. What are you going to major in?” “Childhood and Special Education.” “Wow, special education, huh?” “Well, it’s kind of a package deal with elementary education. It takes a certain type of person to be a special education teacher… I don’t think that I’m that person.”
