To graduate from a MVUSD high school a student must: • Pass both parts of the California High School Exit Exam • Earn a minimum of 225 credits (155 required credits+ 70 elective) • Meet Algebra 1 requirement
English 4 Years and earn 40 Credits • 9th: English 1, Honors • 10th: English 2, Honors • 11th: English 3, Honors, AP • 12th: English Elective
History-Social Science3 years and 30 credits • 9th : World History Honors • 10th : World History (year) • 11th : US History (year) • 12th : Government (semester) • 12th : Economics (semester)
Math3 years and 30 credits • 9th : Appropriate Math • Cahsee Math (year) • Algebra 1 (year) • Geometry (year) • 10th : Appropriate Math (year) • 11th : Appropriate Math (year) • 12th : Optional
Science (2 years-20 credits) Health Science (1/2 year-5 credits) Two semesters of Life Science Two semester of Physical Science One semester of Health Science • 9th : Earth Science (physical science-year) • 10th : Biology (life science-year) • Any Grade: Health Science
