  2. Expensive treatment Most developing countries don’t have enough funds for a proper public healthcare. public health urgent This puts financial strain on the pockets of people as they have to pay for their own treatments. Not just that, public hospitals lack machinery and advanced medications.

  3. Lack of transparency in drug selection In hospitals, there is a lack of transparency in revealing the brand of the medicine. The patient should be given a chance with the stakeholders to decide the brand of the drug.

  4. Pharmaceutical supply chain management With an inefficient supply chain, drug theft and hoarding occur. Drug manufacturers need to have better control of the supply chain. With a blockchain track and trace system, manufacturers will be able to get information on packages at every step of the supply chain.

  5. Counterfeit medicines Often people come across counterfeit medicines and with a lack of knowledge they are not able to identify whether the medicine is fake or authentic. medSafe is an NFT-based drug track and trace system by medGrids. medSafe uses a unique QR code for every product that can be scanned at every step of the drug supply chain. Thus by business intelligence, counterfeiting and hoarding are reduced.
