  8. Map D. Now make the Synoptic Map! • Follow directions! Did you put everything on the map? PENCIL 1st! • Hint- you’re making a mid-latitude cyclone. You already know where the low pressure center and the occluded front is. You know the general shape of a mid-latitude cyclone. Look for: • precipitation ON a front • air mass locations based on temperatures and relative humidity (look at air temp and dewpoint) • signs of weather well ahead of a front (look at cloud cover). • USE THE DIAGRAMS in your notes and do nows!
