  3. Declarative Sentence • It is a statement that ends with a period • The team meets today at the park. • My brother had school today. • Pam at an apple at lunch.

  4. Interrogative Sentence • It is a question that ends with a question mark. • Where are you going? • What time does the store open? • When is your birthday?

  5. The meeting will start soon

  6. Where is the game tonight

  7. Did you buy anything at the store

  8. My dad went to the baseball game

  9. Sarah climbed the tree last night

  10. Peter and John played in the rain

  11. Why do you have mud in your hair

  12. How did he get out of the tree

  13. I will study for the hard test

  14. Will you take me to the mall

  15. Imperative Sentence • A sentence that is a command and ends with a period. • Please sit quietly. • Go sit down.

  16. Exclamatory Sentence • A sentence that expresses strong feeling and ends with an exclamation point. • What a beautiful day it is! • Wow, that was awesome!
