  1. Why are some of the vanity metrics that are important in digital marketing ad campaigns? We heard a lot about google analytics and we know how accurate its metrics are. Google Analytics is a tool that helps us get insights about any campaign through previous data. It then gives us stats and numbers through which we can get an approximate idea about our campaign. The results or stats are measured in two ways one is vanity and another one is actionable metrics. Many times google analytics is done to check an approximate ROI percentage. For any ad campaign to run successfully many factors are involved, some are quantitative factors- the ones that can be counted and some are qualitative factors- the ones that cannot be counted. The qualitative factors are called vanity metrics. Many brands and surprisingly digital marketers also sometimes oversee the vanity metrics as they don't show figures or quantifiers. However, this approach is wrong and leads to a massive misleading campaign.
