  5. SO WHO ARE THEY? • AVERAGE PERSON WHO USUALLY… • HAS A PASSION FOR THE GAME • NEEDS A PART TIME JOB • WANTS TO STILL BE IN THE GAME • WANTS TO STAY IN SHAPE

  6. WHAT ARE THEIR PURPOSE? • TO PROVIDE SAFETY • TO PROVIDE STRUCTURE • TO OBJECTIVELY APPLY THE RULES OF THE GAME

  7. AFFECT ON THE GAME? • Talking to officials during a game? • Can coaches have an affect? • Can parents? • Can players?

  14. OUR JOB AS A.D.’S • Supervision at sporting events • If not then get someone there • Crowd control • Medical emergencies • Take care of officials • Take care of opponent • Building operations • Allows everyone else to do their job
