The criteria cover personal items like whistle, emergency rations, water sterilization, and thermal layers, as well as team gear, including maps, compasses, and high visibility clothing. Proper attire is emphasized for protection against the elements, with a focus on waterproof trousers, adequate footwear, and effective use of gaiters.
