  2. Everybody wants their house to have the feeling of luxury. Some can afford the luxury by buying big spaces, but if you cannot afford it and want to build a reasonably priced living room don’t worry we have got you covered. It is not necessary to spend big bucks to build a luxury living room. Luxurious living rooms give the idea of an elegant, royal, simple, and classy living room. It is urban and sophisticated and the idea is to keep everything as minimal as possible. Here are some ideas for building a luxurious living room.

  3. 01 Combination of different fabrics Your home will most likely fall flat if your sofa, chair, throw cushions, and curtains are all the same fabric and texture. To quickly create dimension, replace plain throw pillows with a range of textures and sizes. Even if you're not a fan of color, a few colors that are somewhat different from the neutrals you currently have will liven up the room. If you can't commit to a bolder palette, try light mustard, dusty pink, or delicate lilac.

  4. 02 Designer hardware You've most likely heard it before, and with good cause. For pennies on the dollar, replacing your regular hardware with something more modern and elegant will instantly boost your room. To breathe fresh life into a dated environment, use it on your kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanity, or bedroom furnishings.

  5. 03 Paint rich colors We have said it a thousand times and we will say it one more time: always use colors that blend with your furniture or the other way around. Color can change the way your living room looks. For a luxurious feel, you can go with beige, or neutral colors because let’s face it they give a more sophisticated and luxurious look than any other color. If you go to any luxurious hotels and in 7 out of 10 hotels you will find a combination of neutrals.

  6. 04 Big drape curtains Many affluent and elegant homes have high ceilings and abundant natural light. Hang your drapes and hardware as high as close to the ceiling as possible, never directly over the window frame, to fool the eye and get the illusion. This will attract the eye upward and create the illusion of a larger area. Add translucent curtains to truly soften the light coming in and fill the space with a warm, comfortable, but costly seeming warmth.

  7. 05 Monochromatic accessories When it comes to furnishings, we advocate avoiding sets, yet nothing appears more purposeful, clean, and sophisticated than a set of identical containers on a vanity or kitchen counter. The overall effect is elevated by using liquid soap in a dispenser and putting cotton swabs from a box into a complementing container. The update is quite affordable, but the total impact on your bathroom is huge. In your own house, you'll feel like you're on vacation.

  8. 06 Carpet for the royalty A statement-making rug can help to ground your furnishings. It not only ties everything together, but it also creates the groundwork and sets the tone for the remainder of the space. The larger the rug (and the more of your furniture arrangement you can easily integrate on it), the more bespoke and luxurious it will appear.
