  1. Our Upcoming Week 3/3 – 3/7 Our Busy Week 2/24 – 2/28 Upcoming Important Dates Parent Teacher Conferences Thursday, March 13th Half Day for students Dismissal at 11:45 a.m. We are officially 100 days smarter! This week we celebrated the 100th day of school by decorating hats and counting 100 dots in an art project. We also learned about Dr. Seuss for his birthday! We enjoyed many of his rhymes within his books. We made a fishbowl with colorful fish for One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish and we measured our feet with cubes after reading The Foot Book. We enjoyed a Green Eggs and Ham pudding snack in Village and played a game with position words. We learned about the letter “Ll” and the star word “at”. Next week, we will learn about the weather of March. We will discuss the concept of “In like a lion, out like a lamb” and describe the weather associated with each animal. We will review how to appropriately dress for different weather and make our own lions and lambs to display based on the daily weather. We will learn about the letter “Hh” and star word “and”. Reminders Please remember to return Parent Teacher Conference forms as soon as possible. If the time listed is inconvenient, please let us know so we can schedule a more convenient meeting time. Thank you, Miss Lee and Miss Scheer Ways to Help at Home Practice rhyming using the –at wheel. Illustrating each word can help commit this rhyming pattern to memory!
