  2. Long-term goals • Adopt 21st century teaching approaches to facilitate better learning of science amongst students .

  3. Short-term goals • Encourage class discussions to boost confidence amongst students. • Focus on developing critical thinking amongst students.

  4. Instructional Strategies and Tasks • I will ask such questions that require logical answers. • I will allow students to hold class discussions. • I will arrange multi-media and strengthen their concepts through presentations and video clips.

  5. Solutions to anticipated challenges Challenges Solutions • The principal might think that the multi-media idea is not practical • Some students might be shy and not participate in class discussions • Parents may not approve of my new methods • I will arrange and group the classes before hand and present an organised plan to her • I will be polite to such students and encourage them to speak up • I will brief the parents during the PTM .

  6. Time line I will focus on developing critical thinking January April October I will focus on encouraging class discussions I will adopt 21st century approaches in my class room
