  4. Project Purpose Project Purpose The purpose of this project is to evaluate traffic and safety data and develop potential intersection alternatives for a Highway Safety Improvement Program application.

  7. Existing Conditions – Crashes (2014-2018) Crash Data 22 property damage 12 injury 2 fatal Crash rate – 2.76 crashes per million entering vehicles Primary crash type angle between NBL and SBT – 24 crashes

Traffic Signal Warrant Analysis Four Traffic Signal Warrants Were Evaluated Warrant 1 – Eight-hour vehicular volume Warrant 2 – Four-hour vehicular volume Warrant 3 – Peak-hour vehicular volume Warrant 7 – Crash experience Three Warrants Were Satisfied Warrant 2 – Four-hour vehicular volume (6 hours satisfied) Warrant 3 – Peak-hour vehicular volume (2 hours satisfied) Warrant 7 – Crash experience (12 hours satisfied)
